Locking Plate
This section consists of orthopaedic implants and instruments that are generally required for various Trauma applications. They are described as follows:
- Bone screws-Non-locking (cortical, cancellous, and other) with relevant instrumentation.
- Bone plates -Non-locking (self-compression holes, reconstruction, and other miscellaneous plates) with relevant instrumentation.
- Bone locking screw compatible with 5 mm, 3.5 mm, and 2.7 mm systems, including variable angle system.
- Bone locking plates in 5 mm, 3.5 mm, and 2.7 mm systems.
- Hip fix (Dynamic Hip screw implant) and instrument.
- 4 mm and 7 mm cannulated cancellous screws and instrumentation.
- Eight plates for Pediatric applications.
- Angled blade plates.
The majority of the above range has been produced in Titanium (confirming to ISO 5832-2) and in SS (confirming to ISO 5832-1) both.
The use of metallic surgical implants provides orthopedic surgeons keen accurate bone fixation and generally for the management and treatment of fractures. Each of these implants has a specific indication depending on bone size and applications.
