"Medical Education Symposiums for training (MES) surgeons" has been a way of life at "Pitkars" since 1991. Initial MES were focused on Ring Fixation Systems till about 1996. Rail Fixation, Deftfix System in External Fixation & Pedical System with cage followed over the years. The Trauma product symposiums have been annual event with certain Hospitals to train young budding orthopaedic surgeons.

Spinal symposiums with implantations on cadeveric bone models has been addition to our efforts since 2015. Specialised bone models have been developed by us to training of Minimal Invasive Technique in spine and Arthroscopic applications.

SHPOPL has been working closely with highly skilled surgeons as product champions to train junior budding surgeons, by using dry bone models or cadaveric bones.

The following are the routine symposiums for training orthopaedic surgeons on newer techniques-

External Fixation Modules:-

• 3) Rail Fixation System
• 4) Alfa Fixation System.

Trauma Implants Module:-

• 1) All plates & screws for various bones & applications
• 2) All Nails for various bones
• 3) Neck of Femur application

Spinal Implants Module:-

• 1) Pedical Screws & Rods for fracture spine applications
• 2) Minimal invasive spinal system
• 3) OCT for spinal applications
